PONTEVIÑO PRESENTATION: PRESENTATION IN XORNALGALICIA.COM



District Business Federation of Hotels in Sao Paulo and the Brazilian Sumilleres, inaugurated on 21st April at 17:00 hours in the ballroom of the Hotel NH Palacio Vigo, the training PONTEVIÑO 08 Days. PONTEVIÑO 08 is a training initiative that revolves around the wine world. The program is divided into:

- training activities for professionals of Hospitality, grouped around two thematic blocks: Ponteviño Catas dedicated to searching out wines and cuisine Ponteviño.

- Training activities open to future groups of Hospitality professionals, businessmen / women and other sectors that participate actively in local movements, offering the latter case a proposal which introduces a gender perspective in a traditionally male environment.

The main objective to be achieved are: ◙

professionalize Hospitality six courses for the employed.

◙ promote the unity of the sector through a joint project in which participate in various associations and various sectors.

◙ Boosting tourism resources of the province.

◙ raise awareness in society in the positive values \u200b\u200bof our culture tourism, with courses open vane and lectures on wine tourism.

To carry out this project we have with major professional reputation that share with participants their time and knowledge, among which we highlight the John Cannas, David Boat, Nacho Costoya, Rafael Centeno, Isabel Sánchez, Cristina Alcalá Carlos Farinha, .... as well as the collaboration of major businesses cellarers.

The inauguration ceremony of presentation of begin with the assistance of D. Joseph M. Magaz Ledo, President of the Federation of Hospitality Business District of St. Paul, accompanied by the presidential table D. Santiago Domínguez Olveira, Lt. Mayor of Vigo; DNA. Maria Montserrat Prado Colors, Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation and D. John Cannas, President of the Association of Sunilleres.

Then there will be a roundtable discussion on the benefits and challenges of wine tourism and its promotion as a positive element for the whole community who participate in the Tourist Consortium and Regulatory Board of the Ribeira Sacra, represented by its secretary Maria del Carmen Lee (the Consortium) and the chairman of José Manuel Rodrigues, the Governor's Council represented by THE Monterrey coach Miguel Lopez, and how companies invited to Farm Winery Casanova and consultant on tourism initiatives Itoconsultores.
